Hey there!
TechLabs started in 2017 in Münster with a clear idea of the impact it wanted to create in the world. As we moved forward, we came to the point in which we wanted to influence more diverse and more creative cities and communities. And Amsterdam was the perfect answer for that. The combination of the StartUp culture, the incredibly colorful city and an engaged founding team truly solidifies our presence and motivation to be in Amsterdam.
Why TechLabs Amsterdam?
We Build. Digital. Shapers. We at TechLabs Amsterdam dream of a world with no digital illiterates. A world full of tech-savvy individuals who approach the challenges of our time with a digital and entrepreneurial mindset.
The demand for individuals with tech skills is increasing. The good news is that you do not have to study IT to learn coding! We help you enter the Tech World– independent of your prior knowledge. Our Digital Shaper Program combines online learning, project work and community events to make learning as fun and easy as possible. As we believe that education should be free for everyone, our courses are as well.
Our Program
Our program provides you with the most effective way to build domain knowledge in the tech sphere. Our blended-learning concept combines Online Learning, Project Work, and TechLabs Community Events.
During our program in either Data Science or Artificial Intelligence the TechLabs Amsterdam community will work on online courses, take part in community events, learn from unique workshops with our corporate partners and develop their own hands-on coding projects to translate the technical into the practical.
Data Science
In the Data Science track you will learn basic coding skills in R or Python and apply them directly to Data Science tasks — from data import to data preparation and visualization to building advanced machine learning models for classification and Web Development.
Web Development
In the Web Development track you will learn to build your first interactive web applications and get to know the WebDev-Toolbox (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and many more).
UX Design
In the UX design track you will explore the process of taking a basic concept, grounded in user needs, and developing it into a design that will address those needs. You will learn techniques such as prototyping, scenario and persona development, as well as wireframing.
